Benner´s Theory

 

Benner´s Theory.

 Benner's theory is the Beginner to Expert theory developed by Patricia Benner for nursing work in the 1980s.  In it, Benner divides competence into 5 levels. A new level, Mastery, has been added later, but it is not here because it is not part of the original theory. The theory has been used in several studies in the health sector to describe the levels of professional competence and the learning needs that arise at each level.

Social media

  I looked at the pages of the Mielenterveyden keskusliitto. Even now, there are over a million people with mental health problems in Finland. I think mental health is a really good topic for social media, it's easy to produce content from it. They have 12.9 thousand followers on Instagram, and 27 thousand on Facebook. Through this, you can also find courses, lectures and events organized by many sub-organizations. There are videos on YouTube, the most views are with the series called Metalliitieri, which has received a whopping 29 thousand views with Marko Hietala's visit! Using celebrities in videos is an effective way to expand awareness of mental health issues. Social media can certainly reach young people, and depending on the platform, people of other ages. Professional dialogue

Dialogue, according to David Bohm's book On Dialogue (1990), is a social and psychological activity in which together we try to reach a better understanding. In a dialogic discussion, others are met as equals and as equals, with dignity, respecting different thoughts and interests. Speeches are taken and used equally. Being dialogic helps to meet people from different cultural backgrounds. Being dialogic helps to face different cultures and people from different cultural backgrounds. Dialogical skills are honed by practicing, the more you do it, the better you get at it. Temperament has an effect. A person with an active temperament is naturally involved and takes up space. Withdrawal temperaments are more likely to follow on the sidelines.
